Do you meditate? Here’s an easy way to do it.

One of the most important things I do for myself each day is to connect to my center.

You may wonder what I mean when I say “connect to my center.” To me, it means the place within, where the noisy distractions that are constantly reminding me of all the things I should be afraid of or what I SHOULD be doing…just go away and I’m left with nothing but my connection to Source.

This place feels warm, loving, and incredibly relaxing. There’s absolutely no “shoulding” in this place.

Life can get so hectic and busy, which distracts us from being centered and present in the moment.

When I’m centered my life feels smooth and easy.

My feathers don’t get ruffled quite as easily.

My breathing is so much easier.

My physical pain goes down, my blood pressure is in a healthy range and my resting heart rate looks like I’m an athlete. How’s that for awesome??!

If you’re seasoned at meditating you know exactly what I’m talking about, however, if you’re like most, the monkey chatter makes it seem like an impossible dream.

When you’re in the shower or tub, be with the water. Smell the deliciousness of your body wash. Get present and find a spark of joy in the moment. This is a form of meditation too…and anyone can do it.

It’s as simple as being present with the moment you’re in. There’s always something here, in this moment, that can spark joy in you. Pay attention and you’ll feel it.

Stop right now wherever you are, get quiet and look around you, when your eyes capture something, stop there, look at it and feel the gratitude bubble up inside of you for this “thing.”

There…you just meditated. 🙂

Putting others first, keeps you stuck and angry. One of our daughters showed me this meme that she found on Instagram.

I was deeply disturbed!

As a person that lives a Life of JOY, a teacher of joyful living, a spiritual healer, mother of 6 and a wife, I can honestly tell you that putting others first and yourself last, will NEVER bring you joy. EVER!

On occasion you may put another’s needs before your own in a complicated situation, but if you live this way on a regular basis you’ll become full of dis-ease.

Putting others first leaves you feeling sick, worn out, in pain, depressed, anxious, and fatigued. Ugh!!

You’ll also feel disconnected from Source Energy and most of all, you’ll feel like a victim. In essence, you’ll be pissed as hell that others aren’t as thoughtful or as considerate as you are.

Jesus was a great spiritual teacher that taught us to love.

We are love.

When someone tries to put Jesus first, they are lost in an illusion because we are what he is, LOVE, it’s already done.

Loving ourselves first, fills us up so that we can love others.

A codependent person often puts others first before themselves, because they hope others will put them first. When they don’t, you feel abandoned, betrayed, and deeply wounded.

The meme I’ve shared is a recipe of true unhappiness and poor health.

Jack and I live a service mission and the only way we can do that is by making sure we have what we need and want FIRST, so that we’re happy and energized. If we were to do our work tired and lethargic, waiting for others to take care of our needs, we would feel like crap and resent our life.

Make the decision to stop putting yourself last. Give it a try, you might like it!

Finding yourself in a pile on the floor wondering why someone’s not there to pick you up is the fastest indicator you’ve been putting yourself last.

Let’s love and have JOY by loving ourselves first.

As I walk through this life, I’m amazed at how the Universe answers my every call.

I have many deep feelings, so many that there’s no way I could speak to the depth of what lives in my soul. That being said, I will share this…

As a woman, wife, mother, daughter, lover, friend, sister, grandmother, teacher and healer, I play many roles and have a lot of responsibilities. But, before I was any of those things, I was just a girl. A girl that had dreams of magical things.

I could feel from a young age that life was meant to be joyful. I knew I was meant for great love and marvelous journeys. That all of us are.

At the age of 44 I have a life that surpasses all of my dreams. Many say I am lucky. I don’t believe in luck or in being blessed depending on my worthiness.

I simply understand that I am the creator of my life by what I choose to think.


I am a conscious creator.

I design every detail of my life.

I live my chosen mission.

I have found my Twinflame, and I have an amazing family.

This is where I find MY joy.

Have I ever had hardship? Oh my! I have experienced deep pain, abuse, depression, poverty, fear, illness and grief. Through those experiences I learned what I do not want. Now, I’m completely clear about what I do want. Those are the things I think about. Those are the things I live.

To create a life you love means that you have to really think about what you want no matter what anyone else thinks and accept that it will make some uncomfortable.

You aren’t on this planet to make other people feel comfortable.

If you try to do that, you’ll lose your sense of self and well-being. You must be willing to question all you know to see something bigger. And believe me, there’s always something bigger to see!!!

If you do what you have always done, you’ll get what you’ve always gotten. You must let go of the old to receive the new. Sounds damn scary doesn’t it? Lol!

It is so worth it my dear friend. You’re the only one in your way.

Whatever you desire my love, you can have it. All you have to do is change your thoughts…then you will see that LUCK is an illusion.

You are the creator of your experience.

Easy does it!

Easy does it!

Today’s message is a message of truth.

Life is meant to be easy.

There’s no need to work yourself to death to have the “easy” life, in fact it’s a fallacy…a big, fat, ugly lie.

The extra great news is that it’s not even up to you to figure out HOW to make it easy. It naturally wants to be that way.

If you’re feeling resistance to this thought, your stomach’s in a knot, or you feel angry at me for saying this, then you know you’re believing something that’s making your life harder.

Our thoughts form our reality.

Thoughts are things.

The easiest and fastest path to feeling better is to remember that there is a Law working in your behalf and it’s the Law of Attraction, which says, “Like attracts like.”

Happy gets more happy and mad gets more mad.

So what to do when you’re having a stupid day and everything seems to be against you?

Pause and reflect upon what’s happening in that very moment, and if it’s something you don’t want, make a choice that you want something else.

Example: You’re in a fight with your significant other–stop and notice how you’re feeling and what’s happening–then say out loud to yourself, what you DO want.

Let me break it down in 3 simple steps.

Step 1: Notice what’s going on and what you don’t want.

Step 2: Then speak out loud what you DO want: “I want to have relief from my angry feelings. I want a peaceful resolution.”

Step 3: LET GO of trying to figure out HOW to have what you do want and ALLOW the Universe to bring it in for you, by trusting that It will.

Visualization Exercise to help you ALLOW the Universe to help:

  1. See yourself in a boat on a swift stream, and notice you’re paddling with all your might to get upstream because you think that what you want is up there.
  2. You decide you want it to be easier so you stop rowing, in fact you pull those oars into the boat and allow the power of the stream to turn you around and move you downstream.
  3. As you look around, you realize that what you wanted is right where you are. The stream carried you to the very place you wanted to be, fighting the current wasn’t even necessary.
  4. Practice this any time you feel like you’re fighting against life and you’ll find instant relief.
  5. If it feels to scary to try this with the big things, try it with the little things and you’ll start building your “trust” muscles and life will get easier and easier…of course, if that’s what you truly want.

May you feel a deep sense of relief this day and every day knowing that you’re not alone and the Universe has your back!
