Do you meditate? Here’s an easy way to do it.

One of the most important things I do for myself each day is to connect to my center.

You may wonder what I mean when I say “connect to my center.” To me, it means the place within, where the noisy distractions that are constantly reminding me of all the things I should be afraid of or what I SHOULD be doing…just go away and I’m left with nothing but my connection to Source.

This place feels warm, loving, and incredibly relaxing. There’s absolutely no “shoulding” in this place.

Life can get so hectic and busy, which distracts us from being centered and present in the moment.

When I’m centered my life feels smooth and easy.

My feathers don’t get ruffled quite as easily.

My breathing is so much easier.

My physical pain goes down, my blood pressure is in a healthy range and my resting heart rate looks like I’m an athlete. How’s that for awesome??!

If you’re seasoned at meditating you know exactly what I’m talking about, however, if you’re like most, the monkey chatter makes it seem like an impossible dream.

Until you get started on this meditation, we have a very simple way for you to begin today.

When you’re in the shower or tub, be with the water. Smell the deliciousness of your body wash. Get present and find a spark of joy in the moment. This is a form of meditation too…and anyone can do it.

It’s as simple as being present with the moment you’re in. There’s always something here, in this moment, that can spark joy in you. Pay attention and you’ll feel it.

Stop right now wherever you are, get quiet and look around you, when your eyes capture something, stop there, look at it and feel the gratitude bubble up inside of you for this “thing.”

There…you just meditated. 🙂
